Acas describes neurodiversity as “the natural differences in how people’s brains behave and process information”. Everyone thinks, learns and acts in their own way. Some people are neurodivergent, which Acas describes as someone “whose brain works differently to what is considered more typical”. Examples include ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia and Tourette’s syndrome.
